The Raja Meditation Chair is our top of the line model featuring carved Mango wood legs and face. The most significant difference to the Serenity Meditation chair though is the addition of short stylish arms that add a certain solid stature to the piece.
The name "Raja" derives from the Sanskrit meaning "Royalty" and you will truly find this chair a royal addition to your home.
The front of the seat of the Raja Meditation Chair drops 3 inches from the side to the middle to allow for the feet to rest more comfortably below the knees while the back of the seat remains straight across to raise the hips slightly. The shorter arms on the Raja Chair were designed not to interfere with crossing the legs on the chair and can also help with getting up and down and with resting the arms while seated.
The dimensions and design of The Raja Meditation Chair are otherwise the same as the Serenity Chair so both will work equally well for supporting proper posture in meditation. The cream cushions are kapok filled, 100% cotton. Raja Meditation Chair Covers can be purchased separately and are available in a variety of colors.
